Om Adidas Adizero Pro 3 och Takumi Sen 9

I have already mentioned the Adidas Adizero Pro 3 as one of the best Adidas running shoes for marathons and half marathons. Along with the Nike Vaporfly 3 and Nike Alphafly, this is the most commonly used racing shoe among the elite in marathon and half marathon races around the world.

The shoe has an excellent roll and offers a top-notch responsive run. It features ENERGYRODS 2.0 technology from heel to toe, which provides an energy return that you really feel in your stride. There is also a Lightstrike cushioning in the shoe that provides very good cushioning. It is one of the new age “super shoes” that are both light and at the same time maximally cushioned.

Adidas Takumi Sen 9 is a slightly less cushioned running shoe that is intended for distances up to half marathon. This is a distinctly competitive shoe that I owned while it still had Boost material in the midsole. Now it has LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam in a thicker sole. You will also find half-length carbon fiber reinforced ENERGYRODS in the shoes.

Things have really moved on since I last raced in these shoes.
