ASICS has now announced the debut of its latest innovation, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 26, a running shoe that combines minor modifications with significant comfort enhancements. This 26th version of the popular cushioned running shoe series offers a more refined running experience.
A notable advancement in the GEL-NIMBUS™ 26 is the integration of the new HYBRID ASICSGRIP™ technology. This feature, in tandem with the AHARPLUS™ outsole rubber, provides runners with superior traction, increased softness, and enhanced durability. These improvements are particularly beneficial for those running on damp and slick surfaces.

The shoe’s midfoot area has been upgraded for a better fit, courtesy of an engineered knit upper and redesigned eyelets. This results in a more comfortable and supportive midfoot hold. The upper part of the shoe is crafted from a breathable, lightweight knit fabric.
Continuing the legacy of its predecessor, which was acclaimed as the most comfortable running shoe in an independent evaluation, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 26 benefits from the FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO cushioning. This cushioning, comprising 24% bio-based materials derived from sustainable sources like sugar cane waste, offers a plush, lightweight feel suitable for various distances.
Additional features of the GEL-NIMBUS™ 26 include the rearfoot PureGEL™ technology by ASICS, which is 65% softer and lighter than the traditional GEL™ technology, ensuring softer landings. The shoe also sports a knit collar design for a contemporary look and a luxurious feel upon wearing.
